The 'W'

Our current W, while recognizable, does not say anything about who Wapak is. In no way does it relate to being a Redskin and it is also very disconnected in style and design from the current mascot.

Then, there's also that legal pressure from Wisconsin. The logo came about from being chosen out of a catalog of available uniform choices. The new mark has been tailor made for Wapakoneta.
